Adventist Youth Society (AYS)

 

 

The Youth Department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church coordinates youth ministry planning and resources The department conducts training seminars, workshops, and congresses for both department and specialized ministries in church regions around the world.

 

Children's Ministries

The Children’s Ministry of Mt. Pisgah seeks to find, teach, nurture and draw children into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

Communication 

Through our work, we foster a clearer image of the church to the world, its mission, activities and witness, so that many will become followers of Christ and members of His church. 

 

Education

 

True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man.

 

Family Life Ministries

Family Ministries is a ministry to relationships: husband and wife, parent and child. Primary areas of emphasis include premarital guidance, strengthening marriage, parent education, and family evangelism. The primary methodologies of the department are education and enrichment.

 

Health Ministries

The Health department promotes a healthful lifestyle among all who comes its doors through literature, programs and Sabbath services, and provides publications, services and programs to aid outreach to the world concerning the physical, mental and soul-destroying effects of tobacco, alcohol and other substances.

 

Pathfinder & Adventurer

The whole philosophy of Pathfindering is built on the premise that “children learn best by example, rather than precept.” As they see leaders and parents model spiritual and social values, they too will aspire to develop high moral principles, loving and caring attitudes, and determination to excel in all their various pursuits.

 

Personal Ministries

Personal Ministries provides full religious education for church members of all ages, including Bible study guides and material for programming on Sabbath and other activities during the rest of the week. 

 

Sabbath School Department

The Sabbath School exists not only to nurture the spiritual growth in its members and prospective members, but also to train those members to minister to others in the Fellowship, Outreach, Mission, and Study of the Word. Its purpose is Evangelistic, not ritualistic.

 

Stewardship

The Stewardship Department provides leadership training and education in stewardship principles for church members and seeks to encourage all members to view stewardship as the human-side of the Lordship relationship with Jesus Christ.
